Catholic Mission in Action - Charitable Work

As a school community, it is important to us that we are able to support our own families and those of our wider community. We actively fundraise throughout the school year for a variety of charities such as our local Foodbank, CAFOD and the Christmas Caritas Appeal.

Charitable Work – 2025-2026

Local emergency causes to support families in need:

On Friday 27th March 2026. we will invited our children and staff to come to school dressed in Mufti for a £1 donation. This is to support a local boy called Max. Please read his story below:
Max's diagnosis has left his family in a state of shock. Just days after his 14th birthday, he experienced seizures that led to the discovery of a large brain tumour. The news is devastating, especially knowing that surgery is not an option due to the tumour's location. Max is a bright, kind-hearted boy who loves football and cherishes his siblings. His family is now seeking alternative treatments abroad, hoping to give him a fighting chance.

They are raising funds to cover the costs of these treatments, which are not available through the NHS. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference in Max's journey. Your support can help provide him with more time and comfort during this difficult period.

If you would like to contribute or share this page to help Max and his family, here is his “go fund me” page - https://gofund.me/b03c27a97

The Daylight Centre - Wellingborough

Our Lenten Foodbank Appeal was a great success with over 250 items being donated to the  Daylight Centre for local families in need!

The Daylight Centre Fellowship was established in 1994, registered in 2003 and ever since we have assisted disadvantaged and vulnerable adults particularly rough sleepers, vulnerably housed, those in poverty and those who are socially isolated.

The Royal British Legion

Our support is a lifeline for thousands of serving and ex-serving personnel and their families.

The Royal British Legion is working hard to support the most vulnerable in our society, be it older veterans that we care for, those who suffer from social isolation, or those who are simply overwhelmed by the challenges associated with the cost-of-living crisis.
